In 1974, Yamaha introduced the "L-series" lineup, which was designed to be more upscale.
The first model was the "L-31".
This model was a luxury sublimation of the FG-2000, and led to the Custom Series released in 1975.
The "L" in the series name stands for "Luxury," and this series consisted of the highest grade models among the FG, N, and L series lined up at that time.
Furthermore, the four models in the L series lineup from 1975 are commonly known as the "Four Heavenly Kings," an ostentatious title, and all four models are eye-catching in their distinctive appearance and design.

This time we are pleased to announce the arrival of one of the "Four Heavenly Kings", the "L-53 Custom".

The first thing that catches the eye is the head made of luxurious Avalon wood.
The head is made of Avalon wood, which gives it an even more luxurious appearance than the rest of the Four Heavenly Kings.
In the center, the grain of the blackened hakaranda wood peeks out, giving it a very colorful appearance.

The body back is made of three pieces of Hakaranda and Ebony, which is a feature of this early model.
The neck is V-shaped. The neck is V-shape, with a relatively rounded grip, although some pieces are quite angular.

The sound has a high-class feel befitting a top-of-the-line model.
The large volume, colorful bass component, and fragile, delicate, yet shimmering treble are superb.
And the ultimate in sound is its elongated tone.
When you end a phrase with a chord, it resonates throughout the body without losing its contour, and the glossy reverberant sound continues to resonate richly from the soundhole.
It is like stepping on the sustain pedal of a grand piano, and you can't help but be immersed in the reverberations.

The charm of this guitar can be fully appreciated just by playing it, and there is no doubt that it is a chic guitar that enhances the owner's dignity just by playing it lightly.

[Condition.]
The condition of the neck and wood has been inspected and adjusted by an acoustic guitar specialist, and all parts are in excellent condition.
The neck has been straightened and tuned with no chatter or jamming, and the string height at the 12th fret is 2.5 mm on the 6th string and 2.0 mm on the 1st string, which is a comfortable playing condition.
The saddle protrusion is approximately 3.5mm-4mm.
