Natural finish, 1 piece maple neck, original pickup rewound by C. Novak, original tuners, newer bridge, nut, knobs and pickguard, good workhorse, with painted HSC, VGC+ (SN:628115) Item ID 55U-5360. 15 photos at http://www.elderly.com/vintage/items/55U-5360.htm
As much as we like Leo's original Precision bass, it just can't do what good Jazz bass can do. It is nice and punchy with a defined top end and excells when playing fingerstyle. This vintage '74 is serious piece of lumber at 10.7 lbs, and it translates through with some super thick and sustained tone. The pickups are a newer Fender Reissue set but all else is original.
This Fender Precision Bass has some non original parts, but is a great player and it sounds awesome. The pickups, tuners, and pickguard are all changed. The body and neck have the original finish and both are in good shape. It has been setup and needs nothing. Ready to gig. It comes with a gigbag.
Summary: As the first production model bass guitar, the Fender Precision bass was revolutionary upon its introduction in 1951. This 1976 model holds to a tried and true formula of an ash body, maple neck and single pickup: simple, stylish and full of tone.
Body: Three piece solid ash.
Neck: One piece maple neck and fretboard with black dot markers. 34” scale.
This Fender Precision Bass was made in the USA in 1974. It shows some wear, but no damage, and it is lightweight, resonant, and a great player. It is all original. It has been pro-setup and needs nothing. It comes with the original case.

This bass plays and sounds great, it’s a lefty! She has THAT tone. All the parts are there. A million years ago, a graphic was painted on and since removed. It’s a really nice, solid bass, Mid 9 pounder, original 81 pots and just a good good bass. We removed the graphic as it was painted over the original finish. After we removed the artwork, we gave the body a very light French polish. It...

This bass did not survive the 80s. Stop yer crying… This bass kills and will kick your teeth in. Has the mandatory passive Dimarzio mod and looks like it had a route under the guard for an 18v rig and an early onboard preamp. WHO CARES! The bass plays and sounds great for the price of an import. The black refin is DEADLY good, it looks real. The body is a 1975. The neck is the magic – it’s a 1983...

1965 Fender Precision Bass Sunburst
You will not find a cleaner 1965 P-Bass than this one without a time machine. This is just an exquisite time capsule piece with all the case candy and the instruction manual too! No sign of use whatsoever!!!!!! with equally as clean no logo original Hard Case.
Everything about this vintage P-Bass is Big with a capital "B." Big sound. Big tone. Big neck. And yes, it's 70s Fender so it's pretty weighty too. This color combo looks incredible, the white is still pretty white, not much yellowing, though there was some bleed from the case so there's a red spot on the back and on the edge. Good action too, it's a pleasure to play.
