A dutifully cared for vintage Gibson hollowbody-- it gives you a window into what it may have been like to stroll into a store in 1955 and see an ES-125 hanging on the wall. It's not dead-mint with some checking an scattered small nicks but it certainly doesn't look anywhere close to its true age. Good neck angle, orig frets in very good condition, nice full profile (.91" at the 1st fret to just...
This Gibson ES-125 was made by Gibson in the mid to late 1950's. The black body finish is original. There is an old neck repair and the back of the neck has been refinished or oversrpayed. The pickup and picguard are original, the other parts are newer repro parts. It plays very well and sounds excellent. It comes with a non original hard shell case.
1956 Gibson ES-125 in tobacco burst finish. This is all original besides a new tuner peg-see photo. Also, missing the bottom strap button. Has natural checking throughout. Original P-90 sounds great! Frets are in good condition. Weighs 5.8 pounds. Set up nice and low. Comes with a non original hard case.
Vintage original 1956 Gibson ES-125 in original Sunburst finish. Plays and sounds fantastic. Original P-90 is remarkably warm and punchy and full of tone. Great for Jazz or Rock and everything in between. Has signs of wear but plays and sounds incredible. Comes with a real nice heavy duty Gibson hard case, too.
Here we have an exceptional example of an electric archtop. This 1954 Gibson ES-125 is in very good+ condition. This guitar has only seen two owners. The nut width is a standard 1-11/16", and this guitar weighs in at 5.2 lbs. Everything except the reproduction tuners are original, and the original tuners are included in the original hardshell case.
An exceptionally clean ES-125. from 1957, a banner year for everything, it seems. Original solid rosewood bridge, original pickguard, original tailpiece with minor professional hinge repair. In beautiful condition overall and plays like it too. Brand-new perfect repro tuners, a blessing. An unusually nice example. $2595 w/hsc
This Gibson ES-125 was made in the USA in 1952. It is in nice shape overall, and it plays very well and sounds great. There is no structural damage. The tuners are repros. It comes with the original case.
1956 Gibson ES-125 in excellent condition. One of the all time classic and most useful guitars. These were sold as student guitars but built with quality that matched the top of Gibson's electric line. This one is all original down tot the last screw. The finish is in great shape with fine checking and a few wear spots from being in the case. Nice round handful of a neck profile with the 1...
A most delightful example of this elegant model, copied by many for over sixty years but never quite duplicated by anyone. From what many consider to be their best period, this lovely, earlier ES-125 is 100% original other than for a perfect replica set of tuners (originals included, in its case), with best-period, near-perfect slim frets, original solid Brazilian rosewood compensated bridge, and...
This super clean 125 is in remarkable condition, and includes original hang tag. The original finish shows little use & only some minor surface scratches- and very few. The frets appear original & have been played VERY little. Previous owner wanted new looking hardware & replaced the tuners, control knobs, tailpiece, strap button & bridge- all with...
Classic ES125 with fine checking on the body and a few small dings and scratches. Tuners were changed at some point. Kluson Reissue tuners have been installed and the back of the headstock lightly sanded probably to try to hide the holes or marks from the other tuners (see pic). No breaks. Plays well despite having a fair amouint of fret wear and has the typical chunky neck. Includes a newer...

1955 ES-175D original sunburst finish, smokin hot P-90's, this is a well-worn blues machine that shows lots of honest playing wear and a typical input jack repair, but is a solid instrument that plays awesome, no worries about getting a scratch on this baby, tons of mojo and priced for the aspiring blues player, new hard shell case included. 1965 Gibson ES-125T in very good condition. All original except for repro pickguard and nut. This is the thin body version of the ES-125 with a single P-90 pickup. These are still one of the best values in vintage Gibson electric world. The thin body allows the option of higher volume and gain applications. Has a great neck profile with 1 11/16" nut width. Appears to have been set-up as a...
Gibson's 125's from the mid to late 50's are very cool indeed, however quite costly on the vintage market. We are now having the small Heritage shop in Kalamazoo make us a similar model, (Please see listing for Heritage model H525PTD)- with some important differences, like a slightly thicker body for a stronger neck-body joint, Jason Lollar's awesome P-90's. better (much better) tuning keys, &...
