1984 Gibson Explorer Bass

$1,250
Explorer basses are rare and were only made for a few years during the 80’s. The body on this one is rough. There are numerous nicks, dings, scratches, gouges (one large gouge has been touched up with black paint), but no cracks. There’s lots of lacquer checking. The frets and fingerboard are nice, and the bass plays and sounds well. Pots date 1378438. Comes with a non-original hardshell.

It's everything you love (or hate) about the 80s on an iconic, can opener...

1980 Gibson Explorer

$2,495
For a guitar to really work, it has to look how it sounds, and Gibson's Explorer looks and sounds mean. The twin humbuckers and all mahogany construction make for a chunky sounding guitar, perfect for riffage. It looks like the previous owner couldn't put it down for more than a few seconds at a time as it has lots of cool and vibey wear througout. The paint has aged to a creamier shade, and...
