1964 Fender Champ Amp

pre-CBS Fender blackface Champ tube amplifier. This amp works great, sounds incredible, and the tubes are the only parts that have every been changed as all other electronic components remain original. It's also in great shape. The end of the power cord cracked apart and was glued back together. The original Jensen speaker is well intact and sounds great.

1964 Fender Bassman 6G6-B

The Fender Bassman has been a favorite of guitar players since its introduction in 1952. The first versions of the Bassman utilized a single 15″ speaker but was soon redesigned with four 10″ speakers and dual rectifier tubes. The Bassman became a piggy-back amplifier in 1960 when the 6G6-A version was introduced. The “-B” version came out in 1963 with only minor cosmetic changes as well as a...

Player's Perspective This little monster cranks up just fine and loves to be pushed! Of course it can only put out so much volume with a 6" speaker but that's exactly why everyone with a good home studio swears by having a solid Tweed Champ around. You get brilliant sounding single ended distortion when the amp is pushed ( and with a guitar with humbuckers you really get some killer lead...
