Headstock overlay: Figured Macassar Ebony. Nut width: 1 11/16". Nut Material: Bone. Headstock inlay: VB logo in figured Paua Abalone. Fingerboard: Select black Ebony. Fingerboard radius: 12". Scale length: 25", 22 Medium Jumbo frets. Fingerboard inlay: Pearl dots, Side dots. Fully carved and sculpted, deeply-figured Flame Maple top. Chambered body of ultra-rare, one piece Figured African Black Limba. This guitar is ultra lightweight for a maple top guitar. Black Limba is also referred to as Black Korina. It, as well as the "white" variety of the species, is legendary as a tonewood. It is very resonant and makes for a superb semi-hollow back wood. Visually striking as well, the Limba is actually quite flamey. An incredibly unique and striking combination! Finish: Tiger finish on the Master Grade Maple w/ Natural back, rim & neck. Bridge: Tunomatic with stop tail. Tuning gears: Grover. Truss rod cover: Macassar Ebony to match headstock. Pickups: Dimarzio PAF Pro in bridge, Air Norton in neck. Hardware and electronics: Volume and tone with 3 way selector, side barrel jack.
