1980's Japanese issue Bacchus Les paul clone with a bolt on neck. This is a difficult model to locate here in the USA. Solid (not chambered) body. Neck is extremely straight with excellent frets and butter-low playing action. this guitar is a real work horse and far superior to any Epiphone or similar. Talk about rare and too cool for school.......this little Framus measures just a hair over 39 inches from the top to bottom. The "broomstick" neck is so small it feels more like a Mandolin. This is an interesting example of an early 1960's Framus Star Bass. It has a sliding pickup that can be moved the length of the pickguard. A very unique instrument, currently on display in our shop. This is just amazing...... Here is a prototype from the 1930's by Rickenbacker and Kay of an upright fretted bass. Early Horseshoe magnet 4 pole pickup. A little larger than a cello. Bound Ebony fingerboard with bound round sound-hole and top and back binding. This could possibly be the first example of a fretted electric bass in American history. A very historically interesting tenor guitar from the period of Charles Lindbergh's crossing of the Atlantic Ocean. Distributed by Sears, this guitar has an "airplane" shaped tailpiece.
