This Color .... AQUA MARINE METALIC was made for only 1+1/2 years and was a limited release color. What a screamer! This little deluxe is amazing. I have always paid attention to the narrow panel models only but i just plugged my 61 ES335 into this amp and it's like Burst heaven with no burst! Newly arrived. This 1969 Melody Maker "D" ( d=2 pick ups) SG body style is a really gorgeous mahogany and weighs in at a feather 6 lbs 12 oz's. For some reason the 60s brown ones are richer and show more grain than most of the early 70s making this a very attractive guitar with nice wood grain and 100% original pots, pick ups, tremolo, tuners .. solder joints, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard ... with exception to a later hard shell case. 1954/1969 Telecaster in factory Lake Placid Blue. I bought this guitar from the original owner's son for myself and it is an interesting story. See Pics. These tuners are the exact same Gri=overs that ypu find on 0's 00's 000's and up from the later 30s on. Late 40s Rickenbacher model S/NS lap steel in black to gray burst. Any later and the horse shoe mag pick up is a narrower example so this is mostlikely a late 40s. That Horse shoe magnet pick up will grab you every time. The tuners have been changed but nothing altered on the guitar or headstock so it can be totally restored with the right tuners. A VERY hip 1973 Telecaster refinished in ice blue metallic. It's documented and done by Fred Stuart ... Master Builder from fender's custom shop. What I think really speaks to this guitar as a guitar is that Fred didn't do this as a customer job, but instead as a guitar for himself which he kept and played for a good deal of time before he sold it (AT LEAST 3 YEARS DOC'D BY PAPERWORK). Early 63 SG Les Paul Jr weighing in at an AMAZING 5 lbs 9 oz's!!! It's the old "empty milk-carton" illusion! It has retained it's vibrant cherry finish nicely over the 47 years it's been hanging.
