  • Bio: Gryphon specializes in high-quality acoustic and electric stringed instruments, and we take pride in our top-notch service staff, well-educated sales people, and a product line that caters to the discriminating musician, regardless of price range. We have been in business since 1969 under the same ownership. With the exception of amplifiers, we can repair anything we sell right here in our own service department. Everyone who works here has a love for fine instruments and a fascination with the world of music. You'll find our sales people honest, friendly, and opinionated. None of them are paid on commission, so there's never an incentive to sell you more than you need.

    • Payment: All credits cards, wire transfers and paypal.
    • Shipping: UPS
    • Returns: Mail order: instruments and/or amps have a two-day approval period. Within that time period the customer must call Gryphon if returning the instrument and/or amp, and the item must be shipped back to Gryphon by the third business day. Customer must ship UPS or Fed Ex prepaid, using the same service as when received, (example: overnight, 2 day, 3 day or ground). Any instrument and/or amp shipped on approval, and its carrying case, must remain factory original when returned, including all papers, warranties and tags. After Gryphon receives the instrument and/or amp, we will refund the purchase price, excluding outbound shipping. There is a 3% processing fee if the item is returned (this fee is waived if payment is made by bank wire or cashier's check).
