16" fully carved archtop guitar designed by master luthier Greg Rich, this guitar is a terrific tribute to the great archtops of the 1920s & 1930s. Old enough and played just enough to get Adirondack to open up. 1&13/16" nut width makes it great for fingerstyle pickers, but it really jumps when you take a pick to it. Serial number and details date this one to 1966, so it is USA made in Kalamazoo. It seems that the El Dorado is nearly identical to the sought after Texan with the main difference being the binding on the fingerboard. Has the belly down Brazilian rosewood bridge and adjustable insert which looks to have been reglued at some time. Bridge pins look to be the only thing that isn't original. The proverbial cannon of a dreadnought. Extremely loud and very balanced with exceptional clarity and tonal definition in all registers. It's basically all you'd ever want in a dreadnought. Look at the rosewood on the back; there's no camera trickery involved in getting that red color. We were stunned when we saw it, but it's Indian rosewood with some uncommonly dramatic color.

Bruce Weber and his crew in Montana is mostly known for mandolins, but we love his take on resonator guitars. Not quite like others on the market with a unique internal structure and all solid wood construction. A loud piercing voice that will do bluegrass really well, but this one can take a somewhat lighter touch and impart a sweetness of tone that the more well known makers just don't achieve.

This is most surely a custom guitar, as it doesn't show up on the Suhr site and the neck, aside from some gorgeous bird's eye maple, is very meaty and large. White binding around the top, contoured back and cutaway. This one's been played some but it's in very good condition, set-up for .010-.046 with low action. Very nice condition and appears to be 100% original with no signs of any major repairs. A very little bit of chipping on the edges on the back but not much and not bad. Neck is tight and secure and the Brazilian rosewood fingerboard is in very good shape and beautiful, too. We were told that this was owned by the bass player for Adolph Hofner "The King of South Texas Swing" whose name he couldn't recall. We got this in recently from a guy who bought it to gig with only to realize that, at 65 years old, this is a hell of a lot of amp to tote around. So it hasn't been used a whole lot. Not brand new, mind you, but very clean and in perfect working order. Footswitch is included. We may consider shipping but it will be expensive. Extremely clean example of a very cool amp made right here in San Antonio, Texas. All tubes (8), 2 channels, 2X12" cabinet with Alamo Alnico speakers. The good folks at Heritage Guitars in Kalamazoo sure do know how to make great guitars. This mahogany body is a hefty baby, so this is for those players who prefer some weight on their LP style guitars.
