This started as a 1954 Epiphone Century. When it arrived, it needed a neck reset, and some TLC. NONE of the parts are original, and it now has a mix of new and vintage parts. The pickup is a 3-point mount Jason Lollar CC pickup. The tuners are late 60s/early 70s Klusons with double ring tips. The bridge is a 50s Gibson. The tailpiece is new. This is the flamiest guitar on earth. 5 Piece maple neck is super comfortable and fast. These 23.5" scale guitars have their own thing going. You're going to play "Cat Scratch Fever" on this, even though its not a Byrdland. There's a small separation at the heel, which I though could be fixed with a simple reset. This guitar is gorgeous, but it's not without issues. The ONLY thing original about this is the wood, the nut, and the truss rod cover. The pickups are "hot" toasters from the 90s. Neck pickup is a long pole, which means that someone drilled pole-piece holes, as Rickenbacker has done from time to time. The pickguard is from a 325V59. The Kauffman vibrato is from a C58. (just sold!)This is a gorgeous looking and sounding Rickenbacker 12. Plastics have ALL been replaced with non-Rickenbacker gold plastic, including gold TRC. The original white plastics will be included, as well as a set of repop Rogan knobs and original Rickenbacker knobs. There's some tight flame on the back, and the front features vibrant grain. (just sold!) Rare blonde Jazzmaster from 1994...this was part of the "Blonde Bundle" promotion. They only made 500 of these. This one's been "improved" with Duncan Antiquity pickups, Graphtech saddles, gold anodized aluminum pickguard, and a brass nut. Beautiful brown case with orange lining, and gold hardware set this off nicely. Very early 1952 Les Paul Model. This is in great shape, with fine checking all over. Sounds amazing with flatwounds...its like listening to an old record. This one has an arm-guard. Late 50s/early 60s Rickenbacker lap steel in a lovely shade of wood-color. Amazing horseshoe pickup. I'm going to be honest with you here. I'm probably going to cut this up and bolt that pick-up into some other guitar, because it's that amazing. Circa 1950s Bigsby volume and tone pedal. Up and down works like your typical volume pedal.....side to side works like turning a tone knob. Wow!!! This is a must if you play pedal steel on Town Hall Party. These are rare. Its a big chunk of aluminum. Own a piece of history!! Cherry (not wine red) ES-355 in rare factory mono. Original witch-hat knobs are in the case, but you and I both know how ugly they are. This has what some people call mojo, but I hate that; its covered with checking and wear. Its not abused, but its not cherry either. Structurally sound, and some major buckle rash. (just sold!)Super clean and very lightweight. Fixed arm Bigsby. Very minimal checking. Its pretty, and sounds lovely. Green lined brown case. Next to no fretwear. There aren't too many cleaner than this one. All original, but evidence of a trapeze tailpiece at one time. This Bigsby is era-correct though, so I think its original. 1952 Goldtop, with very early B7 Bigsby. No extra holes at the hinge (I've never seen this before) and very very very rare red ink'd Bigsby. The dogbone bridge is a later issue, and was ground down to fit. This guitar sounds amazing, and plays wonderfully if you can get down with a small fret. Some typical greening at the arm-wear spot. 1 of a kind 1967 ES175D, with Byrdland/L-5 appointments. This has the Byrdland 23.5" scale and neck, on a 175 body, with an L-5 styled tailpiece. Very minimal playwear, and the typical loss of gold from a guitar of this era. The truss rod cover is engraved "Ruth Piksa", who was the president of The American Guild of Music in that era.
