This super clean amp has had a blackface mod by my meticulous tech. All filter caps have been change to Spragues, (that have the correct blackface values). Beautiful clean silverface twin. 100% original.These amps are very versatile with plenty of headroom. This is the 1st year for this amp to have a master volume which is great for a crunchy rhythm or lead tone. All trannys/spkrs have 1973 date codes. This a guitar is all original except for an exceptional pro done jumbo refret and 2 back plate screws. Consequently it plays incredible. The finish is black over sunburst (just like David Gilmore's) which is 100%. When Fender needed a custom color strat they would grab a sunburst body and paint over the sunburst finish. Overall a real nice guitar. Sounds real nice acoustically.Checking throughout, missing the pick guard. Non original bridge. Tailpiece has been repaired (see pic).. Frets show some wear however plenty of fret life left. Huge neck on this guitar. No cracks/repairs on the top or back. Hawaiian version of the 018k. 2 Repaired cracks on the top (lower bout outer edges of both the treble an bass side) barely noticeable w/naked eye. Also there is a repaired crack on rim (treble side, see pic). Some over spray on portions of the body. New (beautifully pro done) nut and saddle. Guitar sounds great! Great sustain on this Les Paul Jr. 8.0 out of 10 condition. Checking, scratches and dings throughout (see pics). Some fret notching underneath the strings from the guitar being played. Plenty of fret life left. Baseball neck on this guitar great for R & R. This guitar only weighs 7 lbs. This guitar is setup and ready to be played. The most sought after Fender black face amp. This one is in great condition. Amp has been serviced and is ready to go. Replaced old filter caps w/ Sprague caps, four tubes ,old 2 prong w/ 3 prong cord and biased and cleaned amp. I have the old parts and service receipt which will be included. All date codes are 1966 however the tube chart implies 1967. Also included w/this amp is the original foot switch and an older pro made cover. Great SG Special in POLARIS WHITE. 9.25 out of 10 condition. Minimal checking. Minimal worm markings on back. Edge dings stop this guitar from being perfect. Nice wide neck (1 11/16" @ nut) with a lot of girth. These guitars look killer in (rare) Polaris white. Some case candy to boot (Original strap). The OSSC is in real nice shape.
