A very fine and original example of a pearl trimmed 12 fret 0 sized Larson brothers guitar. Brazilian rosewood back and sides. This is kind of in between a style7 and 8 , with top pearl but plainer neck and headstock. No alterations, only a small hairline side crack repair. Otherwise clean and straight. Action right at 2/32" and 3/32" , comfortable fingerstyle setup. Lovely resonant sound and responsive. A rare example of a pearl trimmed shade top finish rosewood Martin. Lovely 00-40H , converted by TJ Thompson. Perfect set up and playability. Beautiful tone .There is a touchup shadow under the bridge( from a previous bridge) . The current bridge is a perfect replica, as is the replaced bridge plate. There is a small pickguard crack and one repaired back crack off the center. Very clean with hardly any playing wear.

A rare and significant guitar built by J.A. Palm in Boston ca. 1900. Palm was a highly regarded builder at the turn of the 20th century with affiliations with the Vega Company . A beautiful Brazilian rosewood back and sides , spruce top, cutaway classical handmade by Abe Wechter. This was made before he had his manufacturing co. up and running and was completely made by him. The abalone rosette is similar to one he used on a guitar he made for John McLaughlin. Very easy to play and very responsive. Though the nut width and scale are standard classical ( 52mm nut , 650mm scale) it feels comfortable and easy to adapt to if you are a steel string player.
