This guitar is just amazing! Modeled after the iconic heavy metal Strat of Dave Murray of Iron Maiden. It features a Dimarzio DP-103 36th Anniversary humbucker in the neck position and a Dimarzio DP-100 Super Distortion in the bridge position and has a Fender Vintage Reissue single coil in the middle. This guitar is a great playing entry level vintage instrument. It has had an amature refinish on the body only and has had one pickup rewound. All other parts are original including a 1964 L series neck plate. The frets are in good shape and the guitar plays without issue. This guitar looks, plays and sounds great! The pickups are a P-90 style WPU-900 by Kent Armstrong and are a nice upgrade from the originals. The frets show just a hint of wear. I can find only a few minor scratches, mostly on the back, that are too light to photograph. The hardware is mix of gold and chrome. No cracks, breaks or repairs. The knobs appear to be replacements. This is a very rare Custom Shop ES-336 "Lucky Strike" model. It was a limited run of approximately 200 pieces made in the Custom Shop. It features '57 Classic pickups and a killer Flame Maple top. This hardtail Strat is a great player. The guitar is 100% factory stock with the exception of the volume pot and nut. Pickups and pots are dated 1975. The inked on date code on the heal of the neck has faded away but the serial number falls right into the '75 range. Only some bery light fret wear. This guitar is a replica of a 1958 Gibson Flying V Prototype with split V headstock. There are no makers marks anywhere on the guitar. It is made from solid Korina. The pickups are a Gibson 490R in the neck position and a Duncan Distortion in the Bridge. I had the opportunity to have the curator of a large collection examine the guitar and he felt that the thin, '60's neck profile was very close to the real '58 V in the collection.
