Here we have, believe it or not, a FINE sounding and playing Gibson Mk 72. These were a noble experiment which never really caught on. A physicist named Kasha spent some theorizing about acoustic guitars. Richard Schneider built some guitars using these principles, mostly classical guitars, and was hired by Gibson to implement some of the new ideas. This example is Spruce and Rosewood, which looks Brazillian, although that is not in the specs. It is a mini-jumbo, j-85 sized guitar. They h...

Here is a RARE British Racing Green Eric Clapton Stratocaster. It has an alder body, maple neck, and Lace Sensor pickups wth a midrange boost.
The story I've heard is that there were only a few guitars produced in this color, and that Clapton instigated that color and gave one to Jeff Beck, because that was his favorite color. It's a good story anyway, and try to find another one of these. It has only a few tiny dings, no fret wear, plays and sounds great, and is ALL ORIGINAL. It has Eric...

Carr Amps, made in Pittsboro, N.C. have a great reputation for innovation,l quality and tone.; The biggest beef was that they were clean, and didn't get dirty. The Sportsman ought to quiet that kind of talk. The amp has 3 12 AX-7s, two 6V6 powering a Jensen 10" Jet speaker. It is supposed to be 19 watts, but sounds much louder. The cabinet is solid pine, and the amp is point to point wired. It sounds like a Princeton on 'roids- big asnd beefy, wih soaring highs and a nice tight bottom. ...

Three were sent off to be finished, when the garage caught fire and burned, so this is one of three guitars made of that magic tonewood combo mojo. It came out great, loud and balanced with great warm dark tone, probably due to the scalloped braces, which Gibson does on very few mod...

It has a solid spruce top, solid mahogany back, sides and neck, and a Rosewood fingerboard and bridge. It has plenty of dents and dings, several short, repaired treble side cracks, and pickwear around the bridge, but no other repairs, cracks, breaks, or other major damage. It plays great, too, with nice low action and the volume and tone are outstanding. We dressed and crowned the frets, and there is there is plenty of fret life left. It gets 30 watts (you'd swear 50) out of four EL-84's, and a 12AX7 pre-amp circuit which avoids microphonics and the amp yeilds rich clean tones and chunky, smooth overdrives. It has a 30 or 15 watt setting. An Edge toggle switch adds top end and upper mids for more bite. A Mid toggle scoops some mids, giving you a 60's American amp tone, or a flat midrange like the AC style British amps...
