Lovely late-60s Martin D-18S. This guitar is from the second year Martin made this model. The D-18S features a 12-fret neck, slotted headstock, and larger body than the normal D-18. This one is in excellent all-original condition, with no cracks or repairs. There is some mild play wear and one significant ding on the upper treble side (see photo). A lovely '56 Martin D-18 in excellent condition. Guitar is crack free and has had no significant repairs. The only non-original issue that we find it that the bridge appears to have been altered from a "through" saddle to a "drop in" by filling the original slot and cutting a new one. Great sounding dreadnought in very good condition with beautiful rosewood back & sides. A pickup system was installed at one point and has been removed. The larger endpin hole that was used to accomodate the pickup jack has been plugged, and a normal sized endpin has been re-installed. There is some finish chipping on the back of the neck, and the bridge appears to have been reglued at some point. Nice late-60s Martin 00-18. This is a great sounding "players" guitar at a nice price. The top is crack-free with the exception of the ubiquitous Martin pickguard crack. Excellent mid-80s example of Bob Givens' work. Great sounding & playing mandolin with adjustable truss-rod and upgraded Monteleone-style tailpiece. This extraordinary F-5 by one of the world's best luthiers will out Loar most Loars. Its a true bluegrass "hoss". This is a player's instrument and is priced accordingly. There are a couple of well-repaired top cracks (repair work done by Bob Jones of Brooklyn, NY).
