This is an ESP hardshell guitar case previously owned by Slash from Guns 'n Roses and Velvet Revolver. It is form fitted with foam to fit a Tele style ESP. This was obtained in the 3/26/11 Julien's Auction which featured hundreds of Slash owned items. The white ESP Eclipse Custom that came with this case sold for $5000. Both the guitar and case were brought on tour and to the studio for recording. This is a 1971 Gibson Les Paul "Standard '58" model guitar. These originally came with a '54 style stud tailpiece but this one has been modified to '56 specs with a tun-o-matic bridge and stop tailpiece. The jack plate and knobs are incorrect and the pickup selector ring is missing, otherwise everything is original. The pots are dated 1971. Features a one piece neck and correct headstock angle.
