Sunburst, Gibson made, 14 ¾" wide, 19 1/14" long, the larger of the two models, 14 frets clear of body, basically a Gibson L-00. Has a big neck with a pronounced V profile, deluxe tapered headstock. Sunburst, hand carved solid spruce top and solid flamed maple back and sides this was Gibson’s top of the line and one of the few 25.5" scale length guitars they made in this era. Shows minor playing wear and two small marks on top from a stick on guitar tuner (that was supposed to be safe on finishes). The jack plate is also replaced. The two Alnico pickups give a rich 50’s velvet hammer jazz tone. Phenomenal! The body is multi bound everywhere including the F holes. All original see through blonde, all stock and clean blonde bakelite Strat. Blondes are just plain more fun on fifties strats.
