Original 1952 to 57 Goldtop PAF conversion (with factory finish). The conversion started with an original 1952 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop that had no breaks, cracks or repairs. Conversion work includes: neck reset, neck tenon changed to 4 degrees, plug and route for humbuckers, guitar weighs 8lbs 8oz. The finish and all Woods to the guitar are original: (mahogany body, maple top, mahogany neck, Brazilian fingerboard, Holly headstock veneer, neck & body bindings and fretboard inlays). Original Parts Include: Strap buttons, Nut, truss rod cover, recut original pickguard, bracket, 52 switch & harness, switch tip, backplates and trap end plate. Original 1960 PAF Pickups rewound by Peter Florance - VooDoo Pickups. Included is documentation from Peter on the originality of the PAF's. Repro parts are: Kluson tuners, Thro Bak Rings, CreamTone ABR1 bridge and tailpiece, Retrospec 1' bushings and 1-1/2" studs, Refret with Jescar 6100 frets, CTS Premium 500K pots with NOS Russian PIO caps. All conversion work was done by me: Jim Weyandt, owner of JamCity Guitars and comes with a COA.
