We just love these old American made guitars! For your consideration a 1965 Airline Model 7215 Stratotone in a Red Burst finish. Made by Harmony for the Montgomery Ward store this is a guitar you would have seen in a catalog or department store growing up in the 60s! Lately these instruments have become quite popular for multiple reasons. They’re an extremely cool part of American guitar history! They’re some of the only 60’s American made guitars most folks can afford! But mostly people just love them for their great looks and unique tone!

Specs! This guitar is in very good condition. The truss rode has been replaced which required the fingerboard be removed monetarily. The pick guards are repros but one original is included. All the work was done by Todd Mylet at Portland Fret works.Comes with its Rare original hard shell case. Nickel 3 plate open gear tuners. Nut width measures 1-13/16″. Its has a 24″ scale length. Neck depth measures .90″ at the first fret and 1.04″ at the twelfth fret. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with a 10″ radius. The original 20 medium frets are in excellent condition. Hollow body finished in a Red Burst. Two DeArmond single coil pick ups. Original wiring. Original adjustable rosewood bridge and Trapeze tail piece. Comes with its original very rare hard shell case. Weighs 5 pounds and 1 ounce.

Defiantly a lot going for this guitar! Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, two vintage DeArmond pick ups, excellent condition frets, light weight, stunning looks and killer playability! The new truss rod has extend this guitars life significantly. Includes its original hard shell case which are often extremely hard to come by. An awesome way to get a 55 year old American made guitar!
