This is a vintage 1965 Airline Pocket Bass made by Valco / National. This 3/4 size bass was sometimes made under the Supro name and similarly featured and sold through Montgomery Ward. This is the ultra-cool white headstock version. Surprise! It has two pickups - one in the neck, and one in the wooden bridge. It is all original but one gear and screw on the first string's tuning machine. Under the back panel, the body was chambered for weight relief (as if the 3/4 size wasn't light enough!), made from a solid chunk of wood! The finger rests are chipped, as seen in the photos, and aside from a few expected nicks and dings, the bass is in excellent condition. It comes with its original hard shell case, too.
Professionally set up with flat wounds and ready to thump!
