Alastair Miller builds guitars out of his shop in Toronto, Ontario. After meeting Toronto luthier Joseph Yanuziello, Alastair attended Serge DeJonge's guitar building course and later moved to Montreal to build. Now settled in Toronto, Alastair Miller guitars pass through our shop from time to time.

This 2007 Alastair Miller OM 115 acoustic guitar is based on the classic Orchestra Model body design. Very unusually, the Sitka spruce top and mahogany back are single pieces of wood - they are not, as is the norm, two bookmatched pieces joined in the center. The sides and neck are also mahogany, with ebony for the fingerboard and bridge; the headplate is Brazilian Rosewood. The scale length is 25.25 inches and the nut width is 1.75 inches.

This is a very lively, well balanced and articulate guitar. It's in very good condition, with a good neck angle and action height.

A black arch-top hardshell case is included.

This is a consignment piece.
