2001 Alembic Custom Guitar in an iridescent Duo Chrome Finish!
ON-HOLD...This is one of a kind! It's basically a mash-up of several Alembic styles into one. This was a custom-order guitar to the extreme! This guitar's shape reminds you of the John Paul Jones Led Zeppelin Series II Bass. This one has the triple omega body shape with the bottom point.
The guitar features an HSS layout, ebony fingerboard, blue inlays, factory Kahler tremolo, black hardware, and a very unique Duo Chrome finish. I was told by Susan at Alembic that they used this finish 5 or 6 in the entire company history! The guitar plays very well with a nice straight neck and working truss rods. Kahler's are a bit finnicky so I'm sure it could use a minor setup.
This guitar is perfect for those looking for a unique piece. The guitar has some scratches and light dings as shown. Not mint, but still presentable. The guitar comes with a fitted semi-hard case that may be original (not sure) and 2 trem arms and some extras as shown.
