Description

This has got to be one of the most desirable of Alembic Basses ever produced, the Short Scale Bass made famous by none other than my mentor, Stanley Clark, whom I personally learned every lick from Clarke’s “School Days” album back in 1976, this is an early production bass, its made with wonderful front & back laminations of Birdseye Maple Wood w/a 3 piece body & center core, its neck-thru body is constructed from 5 pieces of maple & purple heart, its front & back of its headstock are made from  Zebrawood & Rosewood laminations, its got stock Series 1 electronics w/its dummy-hum center pickup making what most people say is the ultimate bass tone on Earth, I can agree, new list base price is in excess of $21,000. today, she’s exceptionally clean overall & 100% original, its got a blue box power supply & cord in its pocket in its original black tolex hard case.
