1965 Ampeg Baby Bass BB-5 Red
Here's an Ampeg 5-string Baby Bass in original red finish. Impossibly rare example! We've never seen this combination of color on a 5 string. Everything on the bass is original. Serial number is 001883. There was a tiny ding on the lower corner of the top (at the very edge on the bass side) that's been fixed and touched up. The rest is solid, and in really nice shape. No body separation. Playability is fantastic, with consistent low action down the neck. Intonation is good as well. The pickup sounds great, and delivers that one of kind Baby Bass sound! The original gig bag and extension stand got lost along the way.
