1962 Ampeg Reverberocket. This Ampeg rocks! Good condition with some general wear and tear, but overall clean. Original 12″ Jensen Alnico speaker. One hole in the chassis between the “guitar” and “accordion” inputs that appears to have been plugged long ago. Serviced by Brent Bagby of Solderhaus and functioning great. This amp runs a pair of 6V6 power tubes, making it one of the best early Ampegs for Rock and Blues. The Reverberocket has a warm, fat sound with great cleans and a good amount of headroom for an 18-watter, but gets some nice grit with the volume turned up. The tremolo has a cool vintage choppy sound and the reverb on this one is smooth and lush. A great vintage combo! Includes original footswitch.
