1966 Ampeg SB-12 Excellent, $1,000.00

Very clean and very original flip top Ampeg SB12. Designed as a bass amp, it sounds really good with a guitar as well. Speaker is a Jensen Concert 12" date coded 66. Components with date code are mid to late 66. These were supposed to put out 25 watts or so which seems about right. Lots of clean headroom-that's what Ampegs were known for-but drive it with a humbucker equipped guitar and it breaks up nicely at high volume but not too high to use in a smaller venue. Appears to have been serviced recently and runs quiet. Cool light up panel still works. Handle appears to have been replaced and an external speaker jack was added.
