Description

Offered for your consideration is this unique Tele-style instrument from Tom Anderson. While built in 2018, this guitar is in as new, NOS condition.

This guitar has a chambered Alder body with a "private reserve" grade Koa top. It has a Maple neck with a slightly oversized Even Taper shape and depth measurements of .83" at the first fret increasing to .93" at the twelfth fret. It has a "chocolate" Maple fretboard with a 12"-14" compound radius, "heavy" stainless steel frets and a 1-11/16" nut. The electronics include a TF1 single coil in the neck position and a TF3 in the bridge position, both with noise cancelling. The controls include a master volume, master tone and a three-way toggle with Anderson's "VA Boost" circuitry in a push-pull switch on the tone control. It has a fixed bridge and locking tuners and all the hardware is gold plated. This beautiful instrument weighs just 6.0 pounds!

This is an elegant instrument to behold but even better to play and hear. Tom's guitars are known for their superb playability and this beauty is no different; it nearly plays itself! It is incredibly resonant with lots of Tele twang without being piercing and the TF pickups sound rich and clear as evidenced by the attached sound sample.

This guitar is in near new condition with no flaws of any significance. It could easily pass for a new instrument. It comes in it's original G&G style black tolex case with the original paperwork and accessories, including the fretboard protector.

This guitar had a suggested retail of over $5K and would had a street price of approximately $4K. Get this near new and virtually unplayed example at a great discount. Just a lovely and very special T-style guitar from the luthiers at Anderson Guitar Works. Make it yours!
