Based on one of his favorite guitars, the Epiphone Jim James ES-335 features a Seventies Walnut finished 5-ply laminated maple body with a solid maple center block for increased sustain, with a mahogany neck boasting a Jim James custom SlimTaper C-profile and an Indian laurel fingerboard.
The Alnico Classic PRO pickups are paired with CTS potentiometers and Orange Drop capacitors, controlled by two volume and two tone controls, as well as a three-way toggle switch. Personal touches include vintage-style Kluson Waffleback tuners with metal buttons, a circle/arrow emblem on the truss rod cover, and an owl decal on the back of the headstock.
