Aria Pro II LC-1000 Tobacco Burst

Summary: This is a beautiful example of Arias craftsmanship in the 70’s. This Aria is a Les Paul style guitar with all the high class appointments you would expect to find on an LP Custom. The beautiful tobacco burst finish contrasts with the gold hardware and block inlays in an epic combo. It’s an extremely responsive and resonant instrument that really rivals the Gibson from this era in terms of looks, materials, overall build quality and tone. It ships in its original Aria Pro hard shell case with plush purple interior.

Body: This vintage Aria was modeled after the famous Gibson Les Paul Custom & this one will knock your socks off. It has a mahogany body with lots of multi-ply binding on front and back with a carved maple top, tobacco burst finish which has aged wonderfully yet has been kept in great shape throughout the years.

Neck: The three piece maple neck has a nice volute and a really nice slim taper C neck with a bound ebony fingerboard with 22 frets, real mother of pearl block inlays, bone nut, 1 5/8” nut width and 24 ¾” scale length.

Pickups/Hardware: It has one Gibson USA pickup in the bridge and a humbucker in the neck position which is unidentified but the original Dimarzio pickups are in the case. It has LP style controls with 2 volumes, 2 tones and a three way toggle. All gold hardware, gold Grover style tuning keys and black 3 ply pickguard.

Cosmetics: The top of this Aria is in wonderful shape with no major nicks or dings to mention. There are a few scratches and dents on the sides, some minor crackling in the finish around the binding in places and a few dings in the back but nothing too major. Overall, this guitar is in great vintage condition and is ready to rock for many years to come.

Playability: Our in house luthier has inspected, set up and restrung this Aria with a new set of 10 gauge strings. The action is low, the neck is straight and it plays wonderfully up and down the fingerboard.
