PE-R80 with separate type bridge!
The PE-R series was released as a minor change model of the PE released in 1977.
The head shape was straight until then, but a gentle R was added, and a separate type of super-tunable bridge & quick hook tailpiece were adopted instead of a supermatic bridge.
A dual sound switch has also been added to allow for a more diverse range of sound creation than ever before.
While maintaining the tightness of the PE-1500, it also has a solid mid tone, and has a sound that is worthy of being called a high-end Japanese product of the 1980s, with its own personality and versatility!
