NO SN: Wow. Proud to have on consignment this Senorita 6 from ARK New Era Guitars. Inspired by John Fahey’s Bacon & Day Senorita, builder Tony Klassen has created a reproduction that is both faithful and inspired. The wait time for a new one of these is three-plus years. Adirondack spruce top with hide glue top bracing, vintage style sunburst finish, bound top and soundhole. The bridge is faithfully reproduced from the Fahey B&D as are the painted block inlays on the rosewood fretboard. Very cool layered pickguard. Back and sides are east Indian Rosewood with center stripe. The neck is three piece mahogany with a rosewood center stripe. The tuning machines are top-of-the-line Waverlys. The “piece de resistance” is the ornate engraved and painted pearloid headstock overlay with red, green, and white rhinestones. An adjustable truss rod is accessed through the sound hole. It has a powerful dreadnought-like tone with a pick, sounds great in open tunings, and has the string spacing fingerpickers love. The overall condition is excellent. It comes with a good quality hardshell case.
This just in from Tony:
“Well I can’t believe I let a guitar leave here without a heel block stamp! I have a couple of times forgot to brand them so I make a plaque and glue it on. I’m assuming I signed and dated the top. But anyway...

It’s #0051. One of my most exciting builds because it is the first Senorita I made. Adirondack top and East Indian Rosewood back and sides. Finished July of 2009.”
