This guitar was made by Astro Guitars of Florida in the late '80s to simulate the guitar made famous by Steve Vai. 30 of these guitars were built and this one is the last of the 30 and was never sold until now. It was purchased from the company owner recently. It features a Floyd Rose Pro tremolo that is set up for down pull only. The pickup is a build period Dimarzio Super Distortion and the tuners are by Gotoh. The guitar has just received a fresh set of strings and is ready to play. It appears that the top has been recently over sprayed and was not polished out. There are a few very tiny nicks and chips in the finish. There is No fret wear. The guitar ships in the hard shell case as shown.
