This guitar was made by B.C. Rich and completed during the Class Axe era. This is what I know. The tuners are Sperzel. The pickups are a Duncan '59 in the neck position and what I believe to be a Full Shred in the bridge position based on the output of 13.66 and the hexagonal pole pieces. The bridge is made by Gotoh. The guitar is drilled for the full Moser style USA electronics but it does not have the varitione switch and none of the mini switches were wired in and there is no pre-amp. The pots are dated the 36th week of 1991. The underside of the truss rod cover is marked CA035 and the underside of the electronics cavity cover has similar writing(see photos) including the letters UNK which are from Paul Unkert who was a production manager at B.C. Rich. The guitar shows no fret wear and plays without issue. It does have various nicks and chips but never broken. The front strap pin was moved so there is an extra hole. It is wired with the standard three way switch and independent volume controls and a master tone control. This appears to be the factory wiring. Several B.C. Rich enthusiasts that i have spoken with have determined that this was a Pre-Class Axe blank that was completed by Class Axe. The guitar ships in the original B.C. Rich hard shell case as shown.
