Here's a rare bird! Recently refretted and the big, but not baseball bat neck was reset by Tucker Barrett, so plays and sounds great. 4 original tuners, and 2 replacements that are close, but not exact. One broken original tuner is in the case. Roughly a 00 body size. Solid Spruce top with Mahogany back and sides. It has it's own voice, somewhere in between a Gibson and a Martin if that makes any sense! Great blues guitar. John Fahey fans will know about them. Most likely made by Regal in Chicago. The serial number dates it to 1936, so I'm calling that the year, although since neither the headstock logo, or the label mentions Bacon and Day, just Bacon, I was originally assuming that it was a bit older. Not a lot of information to be had about these guitars, and not many out there!
