  • Old growth Indian rosewood back & sides on this Gibson SJ "banner" style guitar
  • Moon spruce top
  • Hot Hide Glue construction
  • Rosewood fretboard & bridge
  • Large, "C" profile neck like on the old Gibson "Banner" guitars
  • There is a good amount of finish checking on the top & back of the guitar.
  • Also the guitar has one tight, small fissure on the back at the center seam.  It appears stable at this time and we are selling the guitar "as is." 
  • Nitrocellulose lacquer finish
  • OHSC included
  • This guitar just bellows! Its sound fills a room and rumbles your belly when you play it. Great for bluegrass circles or your home studio.

    Must have prior approval of return. Opened strings are not returnable. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your guitar, simply return it fully insured (with prior authorization) via shipping method we agree upon. When we receive the instrument in the same condition as when we shipped it, you will happily be issued a refund minus all shipping costs.
