Up for sale is my 1959 Replica Bartlett made Burst.
All old Growth Woods, Brazilian Rosewood fret board, All correct plastics, binding, inlays, dimensions.
This thing is woody and has that burst tone that only old growth woods can muster. The nitro is glass smooth, and hard… none of the over plasticized nitro. Light checking done by Tom, with little nicks and dings. I’d equate it to ultra light/light aged Murphy Lab style type finish, but has very realistic checking. No shattered glass style. Long and curled and not overly done. It looks and feels like a well played burst that was kept under the bed and played on weekends for 60 years.
Pickups are Rewind Electric Crem Brûlée PAF replicas, and Bourne Pots. They have that PAF and old centralab tone. Bumblebee caps. All as it came from TB. Super clear and no muddiness.
This thing also sustains like no Guitar I’ve ever had. It just rings.
If it’s so awesome why am I selling it? Alas, I have bigger fish I am hunting and this just is one of those times a sacrifice is in order to get to the goal.

This WILL FADE over time like a real burst. If you don’t like too much cherry simply set it in the sun and let nature do its thing. You’ll have a lemon burst in No time.
