On Hold!

ON HOLD. When i first looked at this bass i thought it was a Reissue! In the early '80's B.C. Rich began making guitars and basses in Nagoya, Japan(N.J. Series). A very few were made just like the American versions with neck-thru bodies and full electronics including a pre-amp. I have had a few of the guitars but in all my 55 years i have never seen a bass like this until a few days ago. Since I have never had one of these before I can not tell you exactly what has been changed but I suspect that the tuners, which are gold Grovers, and the knobs and switch tip and nut have also been changed. The bass is super clean with a scuff along the bass top edge above the strap pin and a few tiny nicks scattered about the instrument. There is no fret wear. All electronics are functioning properly including the pre-amp and varitone switch. This is a super rare bass that plays, feels and sounds great. Includes a generic gig bag.
