A very rare BC Rico (BC Rich) Wave designed by Bernie Rico and manufactured at the prestigious Nagoya plant in Japan between 1982-1984 ("Nagoya, Japan" = "NJ" Series also became known as the New Jersey Series because NJ is also the abbreviation for New Jersey. BUYER BEWARE: If it reads "NJ Series" on headstock it is a later Korean made guitar. The earlier C. '84-86 guitars, like this one, were made in Japan and did not read "NJ Series" on headstock. These are the rare and sought after, collectable, higher quality guitars.)
These guitars are some of the nicest BC Rich designs ever and have one of the lowest production numbers of all BC Rich guitars. These will only appreciate as collector’s grab them up, so don’t miss out on this one! This is a neck through design made of solid maple and walnut. The guitar balances very well and is a joy to play. Neck is straight and frets are excellent. Electronics are original and function excellent. This guitar is not only a looker, but a player and weighs a comfortable 8 pounds. She has had little play time and comes with her BC Rich fitted hard-shell (wood) case in excellent condition. Original tuners work excellent and original finish is super! She will rock your socks off!!!
This is a fairly large guitar with a heavy, well built case, so PP&I will be a little more than average. She will ship out of Connecticut, USA and it will be impossible, because of postal regulations, to ship her to places like Australia or New Zealand.
Make sure to check out my rare BC Rico dreadnaught, also in my shop listings!

Because of the delicate nature of electronics and the possibility of parts swapping, all electric guitars are sold as is. I am not one of those people who makes it a habit of dissecting their guitars and photographing their guts: Only in a rare occasion, if the guitar merits it. Acoustic guitars (with the exception of items with the words “as is” in their descriptions or guitars that have had work done on them or have damage) are returnable for credit minus PP&I and restocking fee.. Terms of return for acoustic guitars: Acoustic guitars may be returned for immediate credit towards another guitar of higher price (25%+, excluding marked down prices) plus postage and packing fees (all returns subject to a 15% restocking fee.) PP&I fees are not refundable and guitar must be posted back within 24 business day hours and must be received in the same packaging and in the same condition as sent.
