Description

SN DO329: Beard Model R standard Dobro with solid mahogany body and neck, curly maple binding and tobacco-burst finish in very lightly played condition. It’s a great Dobro for a traditional playing and old time music. The small body produces a clear sustained high range and a punchy growly bass end. The cone is Paul Beard’s triple spun cone with 14” spider. Fretboard appears to be light colored ebony with fancy inlays. Handsome wood inlay back strip. Excellent condition except for one tiny scratch on the back, a couple string nicks on the headstock and hard to see strap burn near the end pin. Original case in solid shape. Consignment.
