2008 Benedetto Bambino Sunburst with Original Hard Shell Case
Summary: This is a really beautiful 2008 Benedetto Bambino guitar with a wonderful vintage sunburst finish. This versatile instrument can make just about anyone happy with wide-ranging tonal capability & super playability.
From Benedetto: The Bambino easily straddles the previously untraveled gorge separating an electric guitar from a jazz guitar. The archtop top and back, ebony floating bridge and tailpiece, 25 " scale and A6 pickup make it a true jazz guitar. The closed top, 14 ½" body, and double pickup configuration make it a blues/rock/fusion guitar.
Body: Closed archtop with a laminated maple top, back & sides & a 14.5” body. The top & the back are fully bound.
Neck: American maple neck with a fully bound ebony fingerboard, 1 11/16” nut width, 25” scale length, 12” radius, bone nut, 22 frets, Gotoh chrome tuning keys with ebony pegs,
Pickups/Hardware: This guitar has an ebony bridge that is adjustable with black wheels and posts. The Tailpiece is a “Model EPS™ (Ebony Professional Series)”. The instrument has 2 Benedetto A–6 chrome pickups, one master volume, one master tone, 3-way pickup selector.
Cosmetics: This instrument is over a decade old but it was very well loved and shows very little wear. The frets are in great shape and I can’t find a scratch on the guitar!
Playability: This Benedetto plays really great – we have it strung up with a set of flatwound jazz strings & it feels incredible up & down the fingerboard.
