This model is the first "BOSS" brand analog chorus from "Roland".EffectorThis is the first model sold as "BOSS" brand from "Roland" since 1976. In a word, it is a very warm and fat chorus. It has a vibrato mode as well as a chorus mode, so you can get from a relaxed and moderate shimmering sound to a loud shimmering sound with a psychedelic feel. The stereo output can be used to create an even more expansive space, and the input level controls (high and low) can be used for instruments other than guitar. Another feature of this model is the low-pass filter on the delay line output side. This is also a popular model, but it differs slightly from the CE-2 in that the BBD of the CE-1 has a lower clock frequency, and therefore the cutoff frequency of the low-pass filter is also set lower, resulting in a milder chorus effect with fewer high frequencies. The reason why the CE-1 BBD has a sound that only this model can produce is that it is a "masterpiece".
The power switch has been replaced and the AC cable has been shortened, but the unit is in good working order and can be used as usual.
