Up for sale, a 1983 Boss DM-2 Delay in excellent, near mint condition and in perfect working order. This particular DM-2 is a stunning and early example, with a serial number that shows a October '83 production date. This pioneering, all analog delay has a lush, warm tone thanks to the famous MN3205 "Bucket Brigade" delay chip. This chip produces a thick, rich tone, and the delay time is variable between 20ms and 300ms, with a control layout that is intuitive and easy to use.

Overall, this pedal is in pristine cosmetic condition, with only a few microscopic nicks around the edges of the enclosure as seen in the photos. The original black "Made in Japan" label is intact, as well as the serial number sticker in the battery compartment. All three original knobs are present too!

For classic, warm analog delay in a compact pedal package, the Boss DM-2 is one of the best sounding and easiest to use delays ever conceived.

The original box is included and as clean as the pedal itself.
