Description

Offered is this jaw-dropping Bourgeois OM-150 made by Dana Bourgeois of Maine. This fabulous instrument has just about every upgrade that Dana has to offer: a premium Adirondack Spruce top with Dana's "Aged Tone" torrefaction treatment giving it a vintage tone and appearance; premium Brazilian Rosewood for the back and sides; full hide glue construction; "Aged Tone" lacquer finish; a cutaway for improved upper fret access; neck and headstock binding; 25-1/2" string scale; 14-fret Mahogany neck with Ebony fretboard; 1-3/4" bone nut; 2-5/16" string spacing; Brazilian Rosewood headstock overlay; antique Walrus ivory for the bridge and end pins; and gold Waverly tuners.

Just tap test the top of this guitar and you immediately know it has been voiced to sing. Play a note or two and the liveliness of the sound board is immediately evident. The tone is clear and well balanced note to note. Please check out the brief sound sample provided. This baby sings!

Built in 2014, this guitar is in excellent plus condition, with just extremely light surface wear consistent with very careful test play only. The frets are spotless. Most shops would be comfortable selling this guitar as new. It comes in it's original archtop case in similarly nice condition.

Guitars in this price category are investments as well as instruments to be played and heard. This instrument is one which scores highly in all of those categories. A new example of this guitar would cost over $11K with these woods, trim and the cutaway. You can get this lightly played example for substantially less. Just a magnificent acoustic guitar from Dana Bourgeois. Make it yours today!
