Brass Bags is a British manufacturer of high-quality soft cases. Although not well known in Japan, this manufacturer is famous overseas for its lightweight and durable cases. In addition to the thick cushioning to protect the instrument inside the case, the most distinctive feature of the case is the acrylic panels attached to all four sides. By using acrylic panels on the four sides and thin wooden panels on the back, the weak point of soft cases, namely strength, is successfully overcome. Considering that the weight of genuine double cases from various manufacturers and other sturdy double cases from various companies is around 3.5 kg, it is not extremely light for a soft case. However, it is durable enough to withstand a certain degree of shock, compact, and has enough space for an A4-size music sheet, mouthpiece pouch, and other small items, as well as a comfortable fit when carried, which is not the case of hard cases.
