Up for sale is a beautiful sounding early production 1997 Breedlove C22/MH in its original natural finish. Labeled signed by Steve Henderson.

The C20 & C22, Breedlove’s most popular models, were designed by Steve Henderson as a step in Breedlove guitar evolution from the Models C10 & C12. Steve added a half-inch to the body depth to make the C20 as deep as a dreadnaught. The result is a grand concert-sized guitar with a sound that’s full, complex and rich in overtones like a dreadnaught – an instrument that’s both easy to hold and wonderful to hear. The tonal characteristics of this guitar are clear, balanced and precise with a full, resonant bass response. More overall resonance than a C10 due to the extra depth, creating a big balanced sound.”

This instrument is a Steve Henderson-era Breedlove C22. It sounds fantastic and really shines with fingerstyle playing as well as light to moderate strumming. The lateral wood figure of the Sitka Spruce top reinforces the stiffness which yields pure, round notes with plenty of volume. Sitka is a wonderful top wood for most players as it is softer than Adirondack, and stiffer than Engelmann. It can handling the strumming, and retains clarity when pushed. The back and sides are gorgeous set of figured Mahogany.

Overall this one is in very good condition less a few medium sized top finish dings / dents and a very, very faint top center seam separation. Otherwise this instrument is in fantastic shape and sounds beautiful. Pro setup in house and comes complete with its original hard case.
