2016 Brian Monty Flying V Historic Makeovers / Korina

This is absolutely amazing ! This is a very accurate replica of a 1958 Gibson Flying V built by Brian Monty . Brian actually had Steve Segal's real 1958 Gibson V to use as a template for this build so it's bang on ! The extra amazing part is that the guitar was sent down to Historic Makeovers to make sure it was completely dialed in. The light aging and colour on the Korina body is just perfect , the neck carve is a '58' profile and very comfortable , every plastic and nickel part has been painstakingly sourced to make this as accurate as possible , the aging on the Holly veneer , bumper strip and tuners look like they are from 1958 ! The pickups are built by Mike Turk to PAF specs , it has VIP pots and a paper and oil cap . No detail was spared on this build , the more I look at this guitar the more it seems like a real 1958 Flying V. It even comes with a Historically accurate Coffin case and paperwork . Oh , and it weighs 6 lbs 2 oz and sounds incredible !
