This guitar, with its significantly designed peghead, was converted from a sqareneck – hawaian guitar to a spanish played round neck 12fret flattop, a few years ago. While this was done it was also completely restored and refinished. Of course it is perfectly set up , ebony fretboard leveled and frets dressed, ready to play. The size and shape of this 12fret Bronson guitar is very similar to a Gibson Nick Lukas. So is the sound. Beautifully grained rosewood back and sides and the adirondak top produce a cutting through tone with strong mids and brilliant highs, ideal for the finger or flatpicker playing Blues or Ragtime. This Bronson guitar was manufactured around 1936 by Regal in Chicago as a top of the line model , with solid, master grade tonewoods, higly decorated with MOP-inlays around body and sound-hole as well as on the fretboard.
