The 400 was produced from the 1960s to the mid-1970s by Buscher, who was a member of the saxophone section of the Duke Ellington Orchestra during the swing jazz era. The big 135mm(*) bell, yellow brass body, and two-tone nickel key color give it a unique character. The straight ringing quality is appealing. It has been cleaned both inside and outside, and overhauled and adjusted by replacing all pads. You can use it for a long time with peace of mind.
The bell diameter of a typical alto saxophone is around 120mm.

☆Okubo Wind Instrument Store performs all adjustments in cooperation with Odagiri Workshop, a saxophone repair shop specializing in saxophone repair.
