Recording King Schoenberg Torrefied Adirondack Spruce Solid Top Single 0 Cutaway

Recording King has introduced the Torrefied Series of guitars. Using designs from its collaboration with renowned historian/luthier Eric Schoenberg, the company is using tops that are artificially aged through torrefication, a process in which the wood is heated at a low temperature in an oxygen-free environment.

One of the first instruments released in the series was the RP1-16C. Built with a spruce top and mahogany back and sides, the RP1-16C is a 12-fret 0-size guitar with a long 25.4-inch scale, a 1¾-inch nut, and a cutaway.
